Transportation Program

BUS PASSES UPDATE

Starting Monday August 10th 2026, the District Office will start registering Mary Silveira Elementary and Miller Creek Middle Schools students for transportation passes.
We are not offering transportation for Lucas Valley and Vallecito schools this year.

Students from income-qualified households may be eligible for a free or reduced fair.

Middle schoolers parents, please review the Marin Transit FAQ in the left-hand menu.

Please obtain your student’s Clipper card directly from Marin Transit—either online or in person (recommended) —before visiting the District Business Office. Marin Transit provides instructions for getting a Youth Clipper card; once the card has been obtained, please bring it to the District Business Office for "Step 2", or follow the instructions of the FAQ.

Location: MCSD Business Office, 380 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael (Library Room)
We only receive applications in person, not online.
English & Spanish speaking District employees will be available during the following times to assist families with bus schedule info, applications, eligibility and payment (credit card and check preferred):

• Monday, August 10:  1PM - 6PM
• Wednesday, August 12:  8AM - 1PM
• Thursday, August 13:  1PM - 6PM
• Tuesday, August 18:  8AM - 6PM
