Dear Miller Creek Community,

It is with deep gratitude and great enthusiasm that I step into the role of Superintendent of the Miller Creek School District. Having served this incredible community since 2013—as both Principal of Miller Creek Middle School and Deputy Superintendent—I am honored to continue supporting our students, staff, and families in this new capacity.

My journey in education began as a math and science teacher with San Rafael City Schools, and over the past 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of leadership roles. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to instructional excellence, equity, and student-centered practices. I’ve led the implementation of standards-aligned curriculum, championed collaborative leadership models, launched restorative justice initiatives, and designed equitable master schedules that expand access to STEAM education.

But the heart of my work—and what brings me the most joy—is the people. I believe deeply in the power of public education to transform lives. Every student deserves rigorous academics in an environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued. That’s why I am especially proud to be part of a district that fosters both academic excellence and inclusive, welcoming school communities.

You will often see me around campuses, engaging with students, staff, and families. These connections ground my leadership and reflect my belief that strong schools are built through meaningful relationships.
