Site English Learner Advisory Committee (SELAC)
The Vallecito Site English Learner Advisory Committee (SELAC) is a group of parents and school staff that meet regularly to
- Advise the principal and staff in the development of a site plan for English learners and submit the plan to the School Site Council for consideration of inclusion in the Site Plan for Student Achievement.
- Assist in the development of the schoolwide needs assessment and surveys.
- Identify ways to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance and increase parent involvement.
- Participate in the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC).
October 27, 2022: SELAC Meeting - 5:30-6:30 at Miller Creek Middle School
March 2, 2023: SELAC Meeting - 5:00-6:00 at Mary Silveira Elementary School
