Site English Learner Advisory Committee (SELAC)

The Vallecito Site English Learner Advisory Committee (SELAC) is a group of parents and school staff that meet regularly to 

• Advise the principal and staff in the development of a site plan for English learners and submit the plan to the School Site Council for consideration of inclusion in the Site Plan for Student Achievement.
• Assist in the development of the schoolwide needs assessment and surveys.
• Identify ways to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance and increase parent involvement.
• Participate in the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC).
