Please Note:  All Bus Passes are non-refundable.  Pro-rated refunds will only be allowed for long term illnesses or Mid-Year out of District. 


PROCEDURES

►    Review the application.  Determine the amount due based on your type of purchase, number of children and eligibility. 

►    Cost per Trip with a bus pass = $1.25

►    Please review the bus routes. Mark where indicated on application which route your child will be taking.

►    Read and review with your child the
ARules for Bus Riders.@  Parent and student (1st grade and up) must sign the acknowledgment. If you have more than one child, you only need to fill out one application. However, we still must receive an acknowledgment of bus rules and route plan for each child.  Please have each child sign the same form.

►    Sign your application.

►    Don’t forget to enclose payment.

►    Send or bring application, payment, and acknowledgment of bus rules to:

Message from Transportation

 

 

Dear Parent or Guardian:

It's time again to order your bus pass if you wish your child to ride on a Miller Creek District School Bus for the 2022/23 school year. School bus transportation offers families a safe, convenient and environmentally friendly way to get kids to school. This year in order to offset the increase in fuel costs, bus pass prices have been increased by $25 and we offer the following options:

• Annual Round Trip Pass

• Semester Round Trip Pass

• One-way Annual Pass (for those who want to ride either mornings only or afternoons only)

• On-line registration and payment option through SchoolPay 

• Payment Plan Option (in person at the District Office only)

We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards), checks or cash for payment. Credit Card transactions will be accepted when registering and purchasing online and at the District Office between the hours of 9AM and 4:30PM. 

Please refer to the District’s website for transportation information and procedures. To process your request, download and submit your application with payment and the rules for bus rider’s signature sheet. For those unable to download or view the information on our website you may come by the District Office to pick up a packet or call 415-492-3711 to request a packet be mailed. 

To ensure your child's bus pass arrives prior to the first day of school (Thursday 8/18/2022), we ask that you complete the application either online or mail the paper form as soon as possible.  Due to limited sitting, only bus passes will be sold, bus tickets will not be available for purchase. Bus seats will be reserved on a first come first served basis.  

Again, this year we will have a bus at each elementary site on Wednesday 8/17/22 – Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Orientation Day.  Your child will have the opportunity to board the bus, sit in seats and get familiar with the bus, so when they start riding they will feel a bit more comfortable.  Transportation for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students is available the first day of school.

If there are any specific health and safety protocols for transporting students implemented in the fall you will be notified of the guidelines.

The bus pass will be mailed to your home. Please be aware that bus routes have not changed from last year but are subject to future changes if needed.

You can now register to have an account for SchoolPay. Use the link box on the right & click on the “Create Account” button. Enter your child’s school name and then grade.

To make future purchases fast and simple you would log in with your registered username & password to buy your bus pass.

Option #1

Purchase Online – For 2022-2023 school year, an on-line service, SchoolPay, will allow parents to use their Visa, Master Card & Discover Card to purchase Bus passes, with a 3% processing fee.  The bus pass will be mailed to you in August. Please use the links in Box 1.

We are also offering a Payment Plan option  for the Annual and 1-Way Annual Passes. We are hoping this will make it easier on the families around the district by dividing the total prices into 3 payments. Please use the links in Box 2

Unfortunately due to changes from our online vendor the payment plan option is no longer available online. However for those interested the payment plan is still available at the District Office and must be done in person.
